Message from our President
"Let me be the first to tell you that you have made a wonderful choice to study here in Kelowna and with our Faculty- we are a faculty that is now over 1300 students strong, and a force at the western canadian and national levels. You are joining the ranks of students presented with a world of opportunity, opening to you as you go down your academic paths. I am so excited for you and for the possibilities waiting at your doorstep! This campus has tons to offer you, and there will be times that your degree may have you down in the dumps. You will likely face both highs and lows- from making a design showcase or attending a conference or competition to represent our campus, to possibly failing a course for the first time. Believe me when I say, an engineering degree can be a rollercoaster of emotions, but I trust that by you being admitted to this university, you are entirely capable of conquering the task and creating the extraordinary. I promise you, you can do it- just be bold, be resilient, and don’t be afraid of failure. Remember, any Engineering design is made better by investigating failure, and this holds true with you and your journey. Always get back up, and try again."
